responsibilities: supervise over and set the agenda for all executive board and general body meetings

why i’m in ccwa: I love learning about world affairs and what is happening outside of Ohio state! ccwa gives me the opportunity to connect with like-minded people who are passionate about global issues.

Fun Fact: I love to hang out with my friends and read!

Elnaz Jamshidi (Vice President)

Major(s)/minor(s): International Relations and Diplomacy, Minors in French and Persian

Responsibilities: As the CCWA Vice President, I assist and support the presidents in any matters. I also schedule and organize CCWA 10s throughout the semester and help oversee sub-branches.

why i’m in ccwa: Being able to have engaging and interesting conversations as well as meeting different people and being part of a community on campus with a focus on international issues!

Fun Fact: I was in a friend’s short film.

Sophia Exline (Director of Finance)

Responsibilities: Working with others to form budgets as well as keeping the organization responsible to those budgets.

why i’m in ccwa: Joined because it was the cool thing all IA scholars were doing, stayed because it was a good time.

Fun Fact: I’m also a head del on our Mun team!

Responsibilities: Planning social events, encouraging recruitment, and ensuring the CCWA community is having a 100% guaranteed good time!

why i’m in CCWA: I love learning more about what’s going on outside of Ohio State, plus the people make it a very fun environment!

Fun Fact: I’m a big nerd about pizza and have a cool scar from the Adriatico’s pizza oven on my arm.

why i’m in ccwa: in my opinion, understanding the millions of global issues we face today are best understood when we talk about them with likeminded peers in a friendly setting.

why i’m in ccwa: I enjoy having a space to discuss and explore international affairs with people who are also interested in it. i’m always learning something new!
