The Collegiate Council on World Affairs (CCWA) is the Ohio State University’s premier international affairs club, home to the OSU Model UN team, the Alger Newsletter, and the United Nations Association. CCWA also hosts the annual Ohio State Model UN Conference (OSUMUN) for high school students in the region.

KUBLAI KHAN’S COURT
A yak attack broke out in Kublai Khan’s Court. Our yak-lomats (yak diplomats) had seemingly endless ideas to highlight the beloved yak, going so far as to declare yaks the official animal of the Mongol Empire. In addition to yaks, the delegates debated topics of political and economic concern to the Great Khan, including plans to expand the Silk Road, create cultural festivals, and invade Japan. Utilizing their negotiation skills, the delegates passed an astounding number of directives and even held both a trial and election after the Khan’s murder. With their diplomacy, collaboration, and enthusiasm, the delegates yak-solutely made Kublai Khan’s Court a committee to remember.
